We saw Caitlin helping Craig on Corrie last night as they repainted Maddie's memorial mural in the ginnel.
And here's what Eve had to say after the episode aired:
Fun fact: My agent submitted me for the role of Maddie nearly 3 years ago... seems surreal that now my character is chalking her memorial 😂😂

Love Caitlin - hope she becomes a regular! As it turned out, she was probably better off with Craig, given Sophie's track record:(
I really, really like the Caitlin character and in fact it was in this scene that I felt her as a regular character with a future on the Street.
It's hard to imagine her as Maddie, probably because I really liked Amy James-Kelly's take on the character.
I wonder where they would've taken the Sophie-Maddie storyline; I think TPTB were ready to give Sophie a more stable relationship --They were doing just that actually, but Amy decided to quit and they had no choice but to kill Maddie off.
Anyway, I love Caitlin and Craig, it's so nice to see at least one couple avoiding the drama.
I really, really like the Caitlin character and in fact it was in this scene that I felt her as a regular character with a future on the Street.
