The Inside Soap Awards take place this evening, Monday 5 October. The results have been announced in advance of the ceremony tonight.
The three Corrie winners are as follows:
Best Actress - Alison King (Carla Connor)
Best Bad Girl - Kate Ford (Tracy Barlow)
Funniest Male - Joe Duttine (Tim Metcalfe)
The award for Best Soap went to Emmerdale, who did really well in the other categories too! Emmerdale producer Kate Oates will be taking over at Coronation Street in early 2016. Read more on that here.

I don't watch Emmerdale but I don't mind them getting the best Soap award. :) Difficult to beat a helicopter crash. ;) They're an ITV show as well and since they always seem to come third behind Corrie and EE, they deserve it (once in awhile ;))))
Joe Dutine was a very worthy winner. Hope Tim and Sally stay on Corrie FOR EVER.
