First-look pics: Liz and Tony back together

Here are some preview pictures released by ITV for Coronation Street's second episode to be shown on Friday 6 November 2015.

It looks very much like a reunion between Liz and Tony is on the cards. As we blogged a few months ago, actress Bev Callard, who plays Liz McDonald, revealed the news to TV Times.  She said: "As an actor I can't see that Liz would ever forgive Tony and Tracy for their affair, but the storyliners keep telling me that they'll put them together at some point."  Well, now looks like that time.

Liz and Tony arrive back from a night out at a gig having had a wonderful evening. They share a nightcap in the builder’s yard and Tony tentatively kisses her.  Liz heads home leaving Tony hopeful that they might have a future.

Actor Terence Maynard, who plays Tony Stewart, has already left his role at Coronation Street. This means we will be saying ta-ra to Tony some time within the next few weeks on screen.

Oh nooo! Surely just a trick on Liz's part?

I'm guessing this is part of Liz getting her revenge. She will probably persuade Tony to sign his share of the Rovers over to her and then she'll dump him!

perhaps this will be another "explosive" storyline when it is revealed that Tony disposed of Callum's body, he will take the blame and go to prison never to be seen again. Of course unless you go to see the panto he is starring in.
