So I've been thinking about Luke and Maria. Why doesn't Luke just say "Maria--Jamie has pics of Steph and is blackmailing me." I get it's a soap, but sometimes is is frustrating that the most obvious and realistic course is the one not chosen.

Why doesn't Luke just tell Steph? I think she'd tear the family jewels off that Jamie bloke for doing that.

I too have been wondering why Luke did not immediately tell both Maria and Steph what was going on. If he races, they'll both know why. If he doesn't, perhaps it'll have been because all three of them have beaten Jamie to death.

This Alya/Gary/Jason business is beyond boring. They are the most unlikely couple and how bizarre that the Muslim girl wants to marry at Christmas. I really hope this doesn't go the distance.

Remarkable how the entire Connor clan and all their friends are in the knicker business, isn't it? Able to find suppliers and new clients in the blink of an eye.

Why is Callum's mum demanding answers from the Platt's? Considering the slimy character he was, he had enemies everywhere. She could equally be hassling Denton?!

Turnabout is fair play and I like the irony of David giving Sarah a dose of her own medicine threatening to frame her for Callum's murder after she approached a drug dealer to get drugs to frame David for the job in Milan. She should've listened to him and the rest of her family from the beginning.
