Last year, ITV showed a three part documentary called The Corrie Years which featured clips and behind the scenes history behind Coronation Street. They're about to do it again, and starting September 6, there's going to be a six part series. News comes to us via Digital Spy who tell us that Katherine Kelly will be narrating the series.
The first episode will be titled 'Scandals' and Jane Danson will talk about Leanne's bout as a prostitute. Julie Goodyear has a few things to say about Bet's reveal about having a baby as a teenager. I wonder what other scandals we're going to hear about! I'm putting money on Frankie's affair with her stepson, Jamie.
Anyone else remember some juicy scandals from the near or distant past?
Photos from the first series can be seen on ITV.com here.
*If the new series of this starts on Thursday September 6 at 8.30pm, what's to become of the Corrie scheduled episode to be shown that day? Does this mean Corrie is moving permanently to its new Wednesday slot from that week - anyone know?

Doubtless featuring exactly the same clips shown in countless other similar shows. Deirdre at the door during the Ken-Mike love triangle perhaps? Yawn... I'm surprised the film isn't worn out!
There are some wonderful old storylines that I would love to see, but the same old ones get trotted out time after time.
Agreed. This is covering the same old ground as "Coronation Street secrets" etc.
Will the off-screen controversial sackings of Peter Adamson, Peter Dudley and Jennifer Moss be included?
Actually, I found the last series of The Corrie Years to be more than just a usual clip show. It was quite entertaining and informative - it wasn't at all fluffy and light like Corrie Secrets was.
Oh and John McE - they've already covered the Ken-Deirdre-Mike thing. You'll not see it again this series. ;)
Reliving the glory days over and over again. You wont get many of the scenes today in the Corrie Years to come - Stella taking people in the back perhaps? LOL!
the are repeating the previous series of corrie years on wednesdays at 7.30pm. i would say this is to get people ready for wednesday switch.
as for scandals...betty turpin having her gordon when he was supposed to be her nephew...same as fred elliot being ashley's dad when he was supposed to be his uncle....sarah louise being pregnant at 13....todd coming out as gay....
Sarah Louise being pregnant at 13 was in the fiest series...
