Anyone else spotted the similarities between Eva Price and Raquel Watts? Both are ditzy blondes, using their assets to snare men who they think are suitable for them, when we all know they're not. And in both Raquel and Eva, there's a lot more to each of them than the hair and the boobs and the fluffy exterior.
For those not old enough to remember Raquel Watts, have a look here, and watch her in action on YouTube against the evil cow Tanya Pooley.

I think Eva's a bit more clued up than Raquel but if the writetrs are moving her in this direction I'm all for it. The street is in need of a heartbroken princess- Micky
I agree, I feel that Eva uses her princess routine as a cover for an otherwise savvy personality. However, I am not as familiar with Raquel and perhaps that's why I see the difference?
Eva has a nastier side to her, but new characters often develop in a different direction from the way we first see them. It will be ineteresting to see if she loses this aspect of her character and becomes more sympathetic. Having said that, she can continue to be nasty to Sunita and Karl forever as far as I'm concerned:)
Eva is far more street wise and "Twenty First Century" than Racquel who, although lovely, was stuck in the 1980s. Frosty is in love with Eva, her heaving bosoms worthy of any 1930s melodrama, the way she carries her handbag in the
crook of her arm, the OTT way she dresses, the facial expressions and the razor sharp put downs. A Corrie icon in the making, unlike her bland insipid "mother" who has been pushed in our faces by her producer friend. It DIDNT WORK!
Eva's a bit sharper than Raquel was in her heyday. Eva also uses her sexuality in a more blatant manner, wtih the low cut dresses etc. I do like Eva, and her impulses that always get her into trouble and yes, she's got a nasty side to her, from her spoiled brat days. I think she's closer to Rosie Webster than Raquel though she's got more clues than Rosie.
