Sue Hanson, who played Miss Diane in Crossroads, is joining Coronation Street, as we've already blogged. Actress Sue has been interviewed on the Ed Doolan radio show on BBCWM.
Listen to it here on iPlayer for the next 6 days.
Sue says she's over the moon about joining Corrie. Her agent rang her offering her the role and she says: "Of course I said yes, I'm thrilled to bits!" She's doing four episodes but can't tell anything about the storyline. She says: "It was a fabulous experience, everyone was so sweet and lovely, really smashing, very welcoming and I had a really lovely time."

Yes, the original storyline said it had to do with Lewis' temporary exit so i kind of figured it was just short term. Good for her to get her feet wet again, though.
