Several Coronation Street cast members recently went to Kenya. A two hour documentary has been filmed with the actors helping out with a charity called S.A.F.E. and their goal is to raise awareness about HIV.
We've heard today that Part 1 of the two part "Corrie Goes To Kenya" will air on Friday, August 17 at 9 p.m. on ITV1. Ryan Thomas, Brooke Vincent, Sue Cleaver and Ben Price all found the experience life changing. The first episode focuses on a slum in Mombasa. The air date for Part 2 has not been confirmed yet.
