Before Becky McDonald leaves Coronation Street next week, she's going to give the Barlows what for with a series of shock revelations. The Sun have the full details and you can read the whole interview there but here's a quick synposis of what's going to happen.
Becky will wreck Tracy and Steve's wedding when she proves Tracy lied about losing the twins. When Ken finds out what his psycho step-daughter has done, he chucks Deirdre out for covering up for Tracy. And then Peter's exposed as a homewrecker.
The Sun says that we'll see Becky struggle with whether she is doing the right thing. But after a tearful confrontation with Steve, she decides to make the revelation public.
Kate Ford, who plays Tracy Barlow, said: "It's great that Becky gets to go out with a bang — she drops the bomb then leaves the carnage behind. I actually cried twice during the episode — once when her and Steve have that final showdown in the street. And then I got really teary watching her saying goodbye to Roy and Hayley. Hayley's tears are totally real, Julie (Hesmondhalgh) who plays her was a right mess on the day. We've become so close and she kept crying all the time even though we were seeing each other a week later. She was crying between takes."
Producers went all-out for Becky's exit. It includes the traditional ride in a Street Cars cab but becomes a race against time with Steve dashing to the airport to try to stop her flying off with Danny Stratton (Jeremy Sheffield). We'll see Becky for the final time in the first-class cabin of a plane in scenes filmed at Manchester airport.
Katherine Kelly, who plays Becky, said: "I'm so glad they didn't kill her off — that would have been too easy. This way she's always going to be a cloud hanging over Steve because she could come back at any moment."

The "mad dash" to the airport script is being used then.
I'm filling up already, I'm really going to miss her.
oh dear....3 soap cliches in 1
-altar row
-airport dash
-black taxi
I couldn't stand Becky when she was married to Steve and later separated....doing the whole drama queen act about every little thing....but I've liked the more recent Becky alot. Calmer, starting to dare to hope for some happiness with Danny, her better relationship with Kylie, (someone else to fight her corner), walking away from Steve's nasty jibes instead of yelling and screaming as she used to do. And the wonderful banter between her and Sylvia....it's been touching. Sure it's a repeat of a few leaving themes, but so what! I'm glad they're not killing her off.
