The previews are in from ITV for next week’s Corrie and Gail tries to mend broken bridges at the Platt house.
Gail tells Shona that she thinks of her as a second daughter and that now she’s back she’ll do everything she can to ease the burden. Shona’s touched. But Audrey gives Gail some home truths. When Gail finds out from Audrey that Max has been failing to take his meds and instead, selling them at school, she’s horrified and resolves to get the whole family back on track.
Then Shona reads a text from Imran informing her that David has been charged with attempted murder. Shona begs Nick to bury the hatchet and help his brother. Gail calls the family together at No.8 and tells them she’s sick of all the infighting and it’s time they pulled together.

I think it's too little too late for Gail to be concerned about her family.
When Gail took off for Thailand,s he abandoned Max and Lily when they needed their gran the most and when she returns it's to comfort Bethany after she kisses Daniel while Sinead is on her deathbed!
Talk about screwed up priorities.
