Gary returns home to worrying news of Nicola. A desperate Gary decides to tackle Nicola about the baby and whether she plans to keep it. David confronts Gary in the cafe and reveals how he saw him looking very cosy with Nicola. Under pressure, Gary admits that he once kissed her but nothing more.

When Craig and Jess are called to a disturbance at a shop, Craig is horrified to discover the perpetrator is Beth Sutherland. Beth is furious when Craig threatens to arrest her whilst Jess is impressed at his level of professionalism.
