Coronation
Street is currently looking for experienced Camera Operators to work in

nation’s favourite drama.
Whilst collaborating with the
Director and fellow Camera Operators, you will be able offer to
suggestions for creative shots or alternative perspectives whilst having
empathy with our cast and crew. You will have experience of working in a
drama environment, and be a confident operator in both studio and on
location, working with our Grips team. You will be committed to your own
development and the development of your peers, offering guidance and
support to the junior members of our camera team.
Our Camera
Operator will be able to operate a range of camera equipment, primarily
in High Definition formats. You will have demonstrable experience of
operating studio pedestals, dollies and tripods with a proven interest

lighting techniques, camera tracks and cranes whilst keeping up with new
techniques, equipment and technology. When rigging and setting up
equipment prior to shooting, you will be able to utilise basic fault
finding techniques for first line maintenance and repair.
With a
systematic approach to problem solving, you will have the ability to
determine what makes a good shot and how camera work enhances creative
storytelling. You will be a team player, willing and able to support
others and work together to achieve shared team goals within our
Coronation Street family when required. Due to the very nature of this

demanding so a flexible approach is essential.
If you thrive in a
fast paced environment where no two days are the same and you possess
the technical and creative ability that will help us achieve our goals,
then we’d love to hear from you.
