From Thursday 24th - Saturday 26th September, there's eight new short plays by a stellar line up of North West writers, featuring the most exciting directing and acting talent in the region.And there's some strong Coronation Street connections too.
Bridging the gap features brand new work by: Jim Cartwright, Chris Hoyle, Charlotte Keatley, Ian Kershaw (Julie Hesmondhalgh's - Hayley Cropper - husband), Sarah McDonald Hughes, Ian Puleston-Davies (Corrie's Owen Armstrong), Punam Ramchurn, Simon Stephens
The casting Director Janet Hampson worked on Coronation Street too.
Julie Hesmondhalgh, who played Corrie's Hayley Cropper, will star in 'Talking Down' by Ian Kershaw, directed by Liz Stephenson.
Matthew Kelly and Karen Henthorn (Corrie's Theresa Morton) will be staring in Jim Cartwright's 'Gap', directed by Anthony Banks.
