Something's been bugging me for weeks. Why hasn't Mary fought for the return of her beloved motorhome to Coronation Street?
The motorhome was Mary's pride and joy, her reason for living. It defined her, housed her. It was where she lived. It was the very essence of her. It was her home, for flip's sake.

Come on, Mary! Come on, Corrie! Let's have Mary snap back into character some time soon please. She should be livid, fuming - or at the very least getting a petition together. Let's have Mary's motorhome back on the cobbles.

I seem to recall that the fines and the regulations meant that she couldn't afford it. She was resigned to losing it but that doesn't mean she couldn't sell it to someone. She won it in a competition, i believe so she would never have had to finance the purchase of it.
Where did she empty the chemical toilet? Did she have showers in it?

She should have been told to move it years ago. In our community (in Canada) we have members of city council complaining that people have trailers in their own driveways!
I never understood where the water and power came from but we don't worry about things like that on Corrie .... She was made homeless so that she could lodge at Dev's and be part of his storylines. As for getting it back, it's probably already gone to auction to cover the costs of towing it away and any fines Mary had incurred.
NO! Absolutely NOT! The best thing they ever did was create a story line to haul that eyesore of ridiculousness away. Perpetually underemployed, Mary would be better served to sell the motor home, pay her fines and move on with her life. She has regular accommodations that allow her to rise above her second-class citizenry of life out of a motor home. She is not able to benefit from traveling around in it, so what purpose did it serve beyond cramped substandard living conditions? This is a terrible idea and I hope we NEVER see that bloody motor home again!
Forget the motor home, where the hell is tony??? John H
Perhaps Tony is hiding in the Motor Home - LOL! Is Julie living at Dev's as well? How do 4 adults (including the odd Talisia) and two children who are growing up now and would need a room of their own by law soon - all live in Dev's two up two down? Another tardis on the Street. But Toad although we hate him spoke the truth that people who live without paying Council tax but seem to have enough money to spend on rounds in the Rovers are parasites on society.
Mary is dreadful. An entirely artificial character with no basis in reality. While Corrie has always featured broad caricatures, you can normally identify real life types they're based on. Mary is just a collection of sitcom quirks. Nothing against the actress who is okay.
Mary has grown on me. I loved her James Bond conversation with Norris, complete with Sean Connery impersonation. These little scenes are the stuff we hanker for, no?
@Nikki NZ - si si!
I love Mary! Brilliant character, Brilliant actress! Her scenes are always a highlight for me!
Also wasn't the motorhome removal part of Todd's evil plan? Why didn't he admit to that when he confessed the other parts?
And when is Mary going to get her belongings back?
The character to me is basically a clown that they'd rather have talking rubbish in the pub anyways.
