Coronation Street fan of the week - Eric in Cardiff

It's time to meet another Corrie fan of the week.
Would you like to be our Coronation Street fan of the week?

Click here to find out more.

Who are you and where are you from?
I'm Eric, 23 and from Cardiff, Wales

How long have you been watching Corrie?
I've been a Corrie fan since the mid 1990s thanks to my late grandmother.

Who are your favourite female and male characters - and the reasons why?
My favourite female character is Mary she has soo much to bring and is suitable for all story lines, she's amusing and interesting. My favourite male character is David Platt he's so evil and yet so entertaining.

What's been some of your favourite Corrie storylines over the years?
I enjoy the little story lines, such as Rosie Webster teaching Betty Williams about twitter, or recently the library campaign with Roy, Yasmeen, Emily, Mary and Craig.

And what would your fantasy Corrie storyline be?
My fantasy storyline would be a whole episode focused on the older characters maybe a day trip to Blackpool with Rita Emily Deirdre Norris Gail Audrey Mary and Roy, reminiscent of old times maybe bumping into Bet or Mavis, Alec.

Have you any snippets or news about meeting any of the Corrie cast, or trips to the set, etc., that you'd like to share?
I once met Helen Worth outside the Trafford centre in Manchester, she's a very nice and friendly lady, and very petite.

It's nice to see a younger viewer appreciate the older generation of Corrie actors. Good on you Eric!
