Pics: Stella Price marries Karl Munro in Corrie wedding

There are some fab pictures of the next Coronation Street wedding. It'll be St Ella of the back room marrying killer Karl, and my, the frocks are lovely.

Have a look at the pics on The Sun website here.

It looks like Leanne and Eva will be bridesmaids, judging by more pictures posted by itv.com/corrie to their twitter @itvcorrie too.

Will it be a wedding with a happy ending? Well, The Sun says that Dev turns up just after the happy couple say "I do" and Karl (John Michie) is seen desperately tugging on Stella's arm in a bid to keep her away from Dev - who may, or may not know by then, the truth about Karl, the Rovers blaze and Sunita's death.

BIG GROAN - the Prices have been pleasantly conspicuous by their absence lately, so I suspect they will be making up for lost time with St Ella constantly in our faces now. I am not sure I can stand it. With Karl and Gloria going, surely Stella is on marked time? Please Mr Blackburn Sir?

I have to say though, St Ella looks gorgeous in that frock.

The Price family will go sooner rather than later, and won't be missed. They'll join the legion of characters that are swiftly forgotten. The Stella character never took off. In the two years she's been on the Street, she only made one friend - Sunita. How is that possible for the landlady of the Street's pub? Karl was the only one who operated outside the family, working for Streetcars. Surely no co-incidence that his character is the one that was, initially anyway, successful. Eva could have been used better in the Bistro but she got sucked back into her insular family.

Speaking of weddings, does anyone remember the article posted here last April with the title: "Clues to Corrie's Summer Wedding - who is getting hitched"? It included a picture of yellow and black table settings (vases full of lemon slices with black flower arrangements). At the time there was speculation that the wedding might be Stella and Karl's or Peter and Carla's.

Anyway, I was wondering if we are still waiting for that wedding or was it actually the reception in the Bistro for Sean and Marcus's friend, Ben? The one where Marcus announced that he was a gay man who happened to have fallen in love with a woman? I vaguely remember the motif that day being yellow and black--

@Anonymous-That picture was Sean and Marcus's friend's wedding. I remember being a bit disappointed at the time because I had been hoping for a proper wedding between actual characters.

Beige wedding dress. Now there's a surprise. ;) (Ok, it's off white/cream, same difference!)

Stella sure has a lot of hair and it's the same colour as her dress. The dressers should give her a bit of colour or maybe they're just shoving her love for beige in our face. Do they not realize it makes her look 10 years older than she is?

I have to agree with Joseph: Stella looks smashing.

Fancy dresses all the way around. Too bad there isn't much love for these characters, as I can't imagine there's much of anyone looking forward to these nuptials.

It was reported early in The Sun (take that source anyway you want) that Stella was leaving next year to spend more time with her family. Don't know if she changed her mind. There were rumours Faktry Girl, Michelle, was going to take over the pub. But, then again, with Liz MacDonald's return... she does have real-life (failed) experience dont'cha know.
