Thought William Roache's scenes were being edited out for tonight?
I've been quite happy with Corrie's recent lack of David and Kylie, so it's a bit annoying to hear they'll be back at the forefront again. I'd rather have a dose of Stella than a heaping of Gail, and David and Kylie just aren't interesting at all. I'm not emotionally connected to either of them based on their histories.
I think the scenes have been re-written with Steve ganging up with Peter against Rob rather than Ken. Oh dear is The Beige Bore financially "ruined". Get rid of your millstone of a mother and stop drinking "large ones" you silly cow.
Yeah, no more Ken for a very long time. But Steve was always going to be involved at this stage so we will see if he replaces Ken in this storyline over the summer.
I suppose if he is concerned about Amy being around Rob, it would make sense for him to help Peter get rid of him.
Eva leaves for holidays....so she's been working at the Faktry for about 5 mins, has already taken time off for a holiday not too long ago, now more time off for another holiday...and she's paying for this holiday..how? With the huge paycheck she must get, you would think there'd be a long queue around the block for Faktry jobs!
When Eva turned down Eric's offer to see the world, Stella said she would help pay for Eva to broaden her horizons, sans a guy staring down her cleavage. It's a pity Eva's travels couldn't happen in that context - as a path to self-realization - rather than selfish frivolity juxtaposed with Stella's financial ruin.
