Not more of Eileen's "angst" over Paul's job? I thought this was all done with - and what exactly is the point of Tommy can anyone tell me?
Its a shame that Chris Fountain is so underused. He's a good actor and obviously eye candy too. As they only get paid per appearance it seems Michelle Collins is raking it in . They should rename it Stella st as without the Rovers it's unrecognizable as Coronation st nowadays.
I suppose now Gloria will admit that she's got a load of dosh stashed away and will come to Stella's rescue. Yawning.
Agree Anonymous about Chris Fountain being underused and he is a good actor! Then we hear that the fantastic brilliant (gag)Georgia May Foote has an extended contract???....just what is in that water the PTB drink?
I haven't missed any episodes of Stella Street lately. I haven't watched them, and I haven't missed them.
The only story line I actually had any interest in is the Marcus/Maria gay-to-straight relationship. This is an actual original, non-hackneyed, fresh plot line. And what do TPTB do with it? They bury it so deep that hardly anyone remembers it, while keeping the Beige One/Snarl (they have to be mentioned together at this point because they appear to be joined at the hip)and Boria front and center as much as possible. The rest of the time is used for other characters/stories I'm not much interested in.
I wasn't going to let St Stella & Co. push me away, but she's won. Between her and the moronic writing that assumes the viewers are all stupid with long term memory loss, they've succeeded in turning Corrie into something so unenjoyable for me now that I just can't watch as it continues its downward slide.
