These days, my favourite Rovers moment is the scene when Audrey's boyfriend Marc walked in as 'Marcia', wearing full drag and humiliating Audrey in front of her friends. It managed to be painfully excruciating and totally hilarious at the same time! I've lost count of the number of times I've watched this little gem:)
Yeah that was funny, I think Marcia left her wig to Gloria.
My top moment has yet to arrive..the end of Tracy Barlow. Surely I am not alone in this. She's a murderer and must pay for her crime.
Top moment for me is Becky at Steve and Tracy's reception. Not overdone, just there to point out a few details that Steve may have missed.....
PEter walking in on both Shelly and Lucy together facing him was great. I loved the episode with Alec Gilroy trying to hide that big spider from the health inspector in the kitchen.
Are they for real? How did Sunita's death in the fire even rank on this list? How could Karl even get a nod of a scene on this list?
What about the tram crash? What about Alma's death? Mike Baldwin's death laying in Ken's arms on the street? Any scene with Fred Elliot?
But Sunita and Karl?? Preposterous.
The look on Gail's face when Louis did her in!! Now THAT was a moment!!
We're talking just best Rovers moments...not overall Corrie moments! And yes Tvor, I loved that Peter/Shelley/Lucy confrontation too!
My own top five:
5) Everyone telling Les to shut up and hounding him out of the Rovers when he has a go at Todd and Karl about their sexuality
4) Bet throwing everyone out before leaving the street in 1995
3) Hilda's farewell party
2) Len, Ray, Eddie and Alf drinking all the spirits and getting blind drunk, as they'd watered them down while nicking drinks in Annie's absence before realising a Customs and Excise man was due imminently
1) Alec and the spider!
