Wait a second, isn't this the same family (minus Owen) who refused to pay Joe McIntyre for the work he did on the kitchen, also the same family. The same family who purposefully made Joe spiral into debt?
This also brings up the question of why Tina is close to them, especially Gary who played a significant role in ruining Joe's life, along side his Uncle Len, surely you wouldn't want to do someone a favour after they did that to your family.
I'm hoping Tina will turn on creepy Gary, who seems to be starting to head back into his old ways lately.

This has been a problem for quite a while. I often wonder if they think that the only people who watch CS are newbies and that they won't understand that so many stories are repeated.
Well...Tina is an idiot so it doesn't surprise me that she has selective amnesia, along with most of the rest of the cast,producers, writers etc of this soap. Maybe she'll be looking at her dad's ring and she'll have a revelation, she'll have the kid and bog off to parts unknown babe in tow.
Maybe she will sell Gary and Izzy's baby to another couple for more money, thereby evening the score.
Ooh, I never thought of her selling the baby to another couple. A couple like Julie and Brian or Hayley and Roy? Then she could leave the Street with her dosh and cause havoc to those left behind (perhaps Hayley could also run off with the baby)? After all, others have mentioned on this blog before that there is no formal contract between these surrogate folk so the legal parent of the child is technically Tina (as it was mentioned in the show before that Izzy and Gary would have to legally adopt the baby once it was born). That would certainly make for a juicy, angst-filled storyline that could draw some different characters in.
Yep Frosty remembers when Gary who with Uncle Len was a nasty piece of work ands stole Joe's tools so he couldnt work so it SO makes sense that his daughter Tina would now carry a beybey for him - NOT!
The Corrie producers aren't the only ones with memory loss. You've made no mention of David Platt's part in Joe's downfall.
Didn't David deliberately steal Joe's painkillers, which directly let to him getting hooked on stronger ones (I'm a bit hazy on the details, but I'm sure someone will remember it better).
David seems to get away with it every time.
CS has totally lost the plot. Boring story lines dragging on too long & as mentioned before characters obviously struggle with rampant short&long term memory loss.
However do hope soppy Tina is hatching a plan as well as a baby!!!!?
Such ridiculous story lines so divorced from reality (no one seems to work yet there is always money with which to drink or go on holiday). I feel SO sorry for the actors having to spout such rubbish.
