There should be a prize for the most malevolent, scheming, devious, unnatural, Lady Macbethesque character on the Street. The current competition between Kirsty and Tracey is hotting up and tonight the score was almost even but the horribly insistent doorbell ringing just edged Kirsty into the lead. Anyone who has worked two jobs, worked a night shift or has had a demanding job at any time of the day or night will know how important it is to have some serious shut-eye in order to keep on top of things.'Coffee and lots of it', will only take you so far. Nice one though Tina, when she asked Kirstie if she gave Tyrone a slap to cheer herself up.
Tommy's co-worker apparently has seven cats and four dogs and has been doing the job of security guard for twenty-seven years. Admirable, if unaspirational, but at least the guy is working and some people simply don't have aspirations and as long as they are harming noone, we have no business complaining.
Oh dear Sunita! Where is the romance now? How Stella must be loving it, especially pointing out that Karl might be drinking or gambling when he goes awol.
Ah Tracey! We have to hand it to her. Steve wanted her to get a job and so she got one. Dev was initially reluctant to take her on but Tracey has great powers of persuasion and so into the red top she fits. What better way to upset Michelle and Steve, especially Michelle, than to seduce her malleable dolt of a son? .Michelle has been impressive lately conveying the agony of a mother with a drug addict son and Steve and Michelle fit well together.
Will Kirsty maintain her mad, malevolent ways when she has to get up in the night to deal with the baby? Surely not, we might think, but who knows? If Norris does deliver the baby the anything could happen.
