There were rumours earlier in the summer that Faye's biological father may appear sometime in the future. The Sun now reports that it seems to be a certainly. They say ITV are now casting the role and the storyline may develop later in the year or early 2013. (I know who I'd like it to be!)
There will be heartache. The viewers will be gripped. Faye will be reeling. Anna will be shaken. The Street will be rocked. "Shaken, Rocked and Reeling". Now *that* might be interesting.
As you were.

Hmmm, this could be interesting. It will undoubtedly cause plenty of drama within the family. I wonder whether Gary and Izzy's surrogacy story will be resolved by the time Faye's father arrives. Or perhaps the two stories will coincide with one another... Whatever the case may be, it's bound to wind up Owen!
I thought Anna had legally adopted Faye? If that is the case then how can her father just turn up out of the blue? He wouldnt even know who she was or where she was? What's the betting he's another bad un - yawn.
Anna has legally adopted Faye, so Faye's father has absolutely no legal rights. Not that this will bother the Corrie writers, just as it didn't in the ridiculous Leanne custody battle. Of couse, I could be surprised and the writers could come up with a storyline that is gripping, original and grounded in realism. Ha ha. What am I saying!?!?!
Yes, he has no legal rights -- but he will still "shout the odds", huff and puff and he and Owen will pound their chests, snort and paw the ground. Or perhaps he will be a smarmy charmer, worm his way into Anna's and Faye's affections, only to let them down in the end. Tear will be shed, voices will be raised and viewers will be gripped. It's a veritable Velcro storyline.
I'm tired of the wave of new characters; most add little to the quality of the show. Writers, the regular cast have interesting lives without the far-fetched story-lines.
Get your bike FayE, your going on a trip. Bye bye.
It couldn't perhaps be Eddie is her dad? Ooooh, that would be lovely!
Matt Lucas would be great casting as Faye's dad - she looks so much like him.
