The end of the month brings us another look at the state of things on Coronation Street. We've had a new baby born and her little life is already filled with drama, poor mite. It's been one of the better storylines for me, very well written and acted all around.
The surrogacy storyline has taken a few loop-de-loops and leaps and it's actually feeling like it's dragging a bit but these things take time. I wonder what extra hormones are going to do to the already stroppy personalities of both Izzy and Tina! Pity the blokes!
This, that and a few other things are expanded upon over here.

Tyrone and Kirsty's storyline is keeping Corrie afloat at the moment. I hope we have some other gems before Peter and Carla return otherwise it's going to be pretty dull over the next three months.
Gloria's personality should have been given to the Stella character. Her snobby pushiness is exactly what would have worked for the new licensee. We needed an 'I'm too good for this place' attitude from Stella not this drippy peformance. Tell the truth, all would be right with the world if Stella left and Gloria took over the pub.
When the surrogate stupidity and Tracy and Stella are gone for good, I will return to watching. Haven't tuned in for the last 3 weeks, but I get the updates here. Love you Frosty & Humpty and, of course, Fat Brenda.
That's very kind of you, Anonymous, thank you!
I am just waiting for Gary to strike up some kind of deal with Tina - anything to become a Dad. Complicated and creepy, that's where I predict this storyline is going.
I don't feel the connection between Tracy and Ryan at all. He seems too saavy to fall for her ploy to upset Steve and I don't see what the attraction would be on either side. Very strange pairing.
