Last week when Michelle and Ryan were in a screaming match and he was hurling insults at her, was anyone else waiting for him to throw "You're not my real mother!" at her? Because she's not, you know, and that would have been the perfect time to say it.
But we're supposed to forget that because that baby switch plot was a major storyline but turned into one of the most ill-conceived ever, pun intended. There's more mulling about it over here. Can you think of other major storylines that seem to have been brushed under the carpet like that?

A much more interesting idea (IMO because I invented it!) would have been for Michelle and Dean's first child to reappear, having been in care due to neglect. The parents would have been very young at the time and unable to cope. The story about Hayley and her son was shortly before this so timing may have been wrong.
Absolutely thought he would say that. I was suggesting (to the TV) that Michelle swap Ryan for Alex.
Hayleys son, Kens various children, Fizz being released from prison- has there ever actually been a final case dropped? Davids epilepsy? - Micky
Don't forget Dev's herd of kids from different clerks in his shops! What happened to them?
Ken does mention his children from time to time though the most recent, Lawrence doesn't get a mention, probably because Lawrence didn't want much to do with Ken. Fiz brings up prison on the occasion but yes, you're right, we never heard if her case was dropped definitely. David's epilepsy is another good point. Never been metioned again, not even talking about taking meds in passing.
Dev's various children were instrumental in Sunita leaving him the first time and that was a major plot line, and aside from Amber, completely forgotten. another good case!
Tracy Barlow's lone kidney is only mentioned once every ten years; look out for another appearance in roughly 2022.
Kevin Webster's half-brother Carl, who would now be about 25 or 26, has never been seen and is never mentioned. Sister Debbie at least gets a mention every 10 years or so:)
What's happened to Auntie Pam and Bill Webster, were they actually written out????
Steve getting custody of Amy. Gail's dad. Ken's parents. Kevin's lottery winnings.
anybody interested in doing a post on the worst and best stories of the Phil Collinson reign?
Best and Worst... not a bad idea although it's sooooo subjective! Every one of us bloggers probably has a different list! :)
