Rumours have been flying around th'internet this week that Cheryl Cole (reality TV singer, reality TV judge, convicted of assault) and Kim Kardashian (I have no idea who this is) both want a role on Coronation Street.
No, they don't.
It's more likely that a bored publicist put something on a twitter or similar mentioning their "star's" name in connection with a high profile television programme, in this case it's Coronation Street, and hope that the story will do the rounds and finally come true. Well it won't. So there.

Kim Kardashian is part of a larger family who have carried on the great US tradition of being famous for doing absolutely nothing - they are the sleazy, over processed, publicity crazed daughters of a fithy rich lawyer. They have TV shows, designer clothes, nail polish lines, magazine covers, endless gossip pages and for what? Nothing.
If she shows her plastic face on Corrie, I will turn off the tellie forever!!
KK being American, I'd be surprised if she'd even heard of Coronation Street.
