Charlie Condou, who plays Coronation Street's Marcus Dent, was on ITV's Daybreak yesterday talking about tough times ahead for Marcus and Sean.
Charlie says that in the next week or so Sean is going to start getting jealous over the amount of time Marcus is spending with Maria. There's a clip of the arguments starting between Sean and Marcus. "You're so busy helping everyone else, there's no time left for me!" yells Sean and Marcus retorts, calling Sean self-centered. Sean? Self-centered?
Charlie also chatted
about his own personal family situation as a gay father of two young
children, about which he writes a weekly column in The Guardian

Oh no not more scenes with Sean over acting as usual in Poor Old Me mode, they should get rid of him and develop Marcus but of course as one of PC's pets that will never happen, sadly.
So very true.
I put Sean and Sarah-Louise in the same category. Cute and endearing, but demanding, when they were younger. We don't know how Sarah-Louise would have developed but Sean has turned into a petulant, immature character.
Agree with all..Sean is one-dimentional. I would love a storyline where Marcus and Sean split up. These two are not compatible in any way..IMO. I just don't find those two as a couple convincing.
Charlie's awesome and Marcus is a great character - Sean needs to take a break from the Street... like a year or more! Let Marcus and Maria get close and show Sean a thing or two about how two people can enjoy each other's company and respect/appreciate each other!
Sorry but Frosty going on about Sean's overacting & dramatics smacks of the pot, kettle, black!!
