First off we start with the news that Carla Connor's brother, Rob Donavon arrives just as Carla is having a big bust-up with Peter.
Talking of big bust-ups, it's also been revealed that Eva the cleavage will be the one setting her cap at Rob.
Anyway, Carla's brother Rob immediately gets involved by jumping to his sister's defence. And he'll be the one running Underworld while Carla leaves Weatherfield for a few months.
Also, Rob hires Eva as a machinist at Underworld. I think this sounds great. Aren't knicker factories doing well in the recession, everyone?
And there's a bit more news about the return of Ryan Connor, bringing with him a whole load of trouble with drugs. DS says Ryan accidentally starts a fire at Number 13 in some of his first scenes. Let's just hope Craig and his rat survive.
And finally, Maria and Jason's friends will be trying to get them together in July, and Kirsty's next furious outburst will be overheard by the neighbours.

My, Carla and Peter seem to have a lot of "bust-ups", don't they? I thought that Carla's brother was serving a prison sentence for auto theft? I would ask how that makes him qualified to run a knicker factory, but I've never been clear on what Carla's qualifications were either..
And Maria and Jason? really? Not feeling it.. both pretty and basically good natured but dim..

Jason and Beth should date. Let Ryan work as a machinist in the knicker factory too, since everyone else seems to be.
With Eva's Cleavage how can she possibly reach the machine/see what's she's stitching? I agree that Carla's brother was supposed to be int clink. But as usual while PC is in charge we have to suspend all disbelief
Wouldn't Michelle be the better choice since she's worked there for a while and knows the ins & outs? Unless of course she jets off with Carla....
God if you had a paying turnstile on the faktry doors specifically for those who run the faktry in Carla's absence, you'd make a fortune.
