The first shot is from Episode 18 and is Alf Roberts' very first appearance.
The second shot is also interesting in that the set is that of Elsie's back room. I wonder what Barlow Snr and Jnr were doing there?
he was a lousy actor, seemed to show his nerves in almost every scene
I don't remember the second shot, but could it be a Christmas party at Elsie's (decorations on the fridge) and the Barlows were getting drinks ...?
