Corrie actor Jimmi Harkishin, who plays Dev Alahan has been seen enjoying a date with a porn star from Sunderland. The Daily Mail reports that Jimmi was pictured out in Manchester with porn star Kat Lee. And it's something my local paper, The Sunderland Echo, have picked up on it too. Have a look here.
Jimmi and Kat were attending the press night of Chicago at Manchester's Palace Theatre where ex-Corrie actress Tupele Dorgu (Kelly Crabtree in Corrie) is starring. And according to the Daily Star, Corrie cast members Julie Hesmondhalgh (Hayley Cropper) and Jennie McAlpine (Fiz Stape) 'looked on with open mouths' as the pair cuddled up inside the theatre.
A source told the newspaper: "This was classic Jimmi. He just loves to shock."
Porn star Kat first made a name for herself along with her twin sister Kit, real names Noor and Zaynor Ellemore, when they appeared on The Jeremy Kyle Show together along with their grandmother back in 2008.

Yes WHY is he still there? A bore, and an embarrasingly terrible "actor".
I think a couple of brothers or two best mates should take over the corner shop. They could be humorous, but not OTT like Reg, always up for a laugh, mucking about all the time, playing pranks on each other and having a joke with the customers. They'd have to be unique to Corrie though, not a rip off, of any characters in a similar vein from the rival soaps.
