A distressed Sally and a defiant Carla were questioned separately by police and protested their innocence.
An angry Anne, taking solace in the bottle, meanwhile blamed Carla for her son's death: "It's all your fault."
A hungover Peter finally returned home to Carta after a night AWOL on the "mother of all benders" but couldn't remember what he'd been up to on the night of Frank's murder: "It's all a blur.. But Carla was worried by the suspicious-looking bloodstains on his shirt. (So he's obviously innocent then)

Gail made no secret of her continued dislike and mistrust of Lewis as he toiled in his new job at the Bistro. But Nick continued to be impressed and felt he deserved the break.
And Steve complained to Karl that the satellite dish for the Rovers' new television was interfering with Streetcars' radio reception and asked for it to be taken down. But when Karl went up onto the roof, Stella took his ladder away!
