We've had the lot this month, have we not? Murder, mayhem, missing children, trouble and strife. Just a typical month on Coronation Street, really.
Frank was killed by his mother of all people! Peter was at the bottom of the bottle again and Leanne is hell bent on removing Simon from a situation not best suited for children. Nothing to do with spite and revenge, oh no. Well, maybe just a little bit?
Eileen is struggling to help look after Lesley and hold down a job and it looks like she's finally hit the wall. Paul has bricked himself up emotionally and can't see the truth. He just won't be told, by Tracy, Jason or Eileen. Lewis is back and I'm not altogether sure Audrey isn't going to get her heart broken again.
More on this and others on the State of the Street.

I'm wondering if we'll find that Paul and Lesley's house has been ready for ages. That phone call from the builder was to say they could move back, but Paul liked the set-up at Eileen's and kept quiet. It's become a very tasteless story line with Lesley being the only sympathetic character. I wouldn't mind betting the writers intended viewers to feel for Paul and Eileen but, as it clearly hasn't worked, they'll now turn him into a lazy, free-loading article. It's also completely unbelievable that no-one, apart from Jason, is telling Eileen she's a mug. Shame on Marcus for not seeing through him. Eileen doesn't come across as generous and warm-hearted, only pathetic and desperate.
Come on, Louis XIV had Versailles built in less time than it's taken the builders to fail to repair Paul's water-damaged flat!
...sorry, house - but same applies!
I do hope the Paul character is being written out. I have struggled with this storyline ,it makes me squirm on every level and can find no sympathy for Paul & Eileen's situation. Please wind this up quickly and not just shove Lesley in a home so that slimy Paul can continue his realationship with Eileen. I see no chemistry between the two whatsoever.
