The paper reckons that Sally's new bloke Jeff will be a well-off businessman who causes a stir when he arrives in the Rovers and is pounced on by Gail. But Gail's nose is put out of joint when Jeff asks Sally out on a date instead.
Actor Steven Houghton appears as Jeff from February 7.

Good news, a proper love interest for Sally. I love it when she's besotted.
Frosty. As i have said numerous times, the Script Writers/"Storyline Thinkers" are just going around and around in circles. Its getting stupid now. Having people who shouldnt be in the show, in it, Having people who in real life wouldnt really get together, get together.
Its getting same old same old now. 50 years, I really dont see it hitting 100.

I agree with Frosty and Anonymous - after a really good storyline re. the crash it has all gone silly and not even believable. What are the present writers doing spoiling what used to be a good soap!

Totally agree with Frosty. Within 5 years time there will have been another tram crash, things are so repetitive!
The guy is gorgeous and not be cruel but certainly wouldn't look twice at Gail. She's got at least twenty years on him!
I agree with Anonymous above...the guy looks way too gorgeous for Gail and frankly for Sally as well. I'd rather he go after the likes of Carla.
