The Mirror says that next year’s return is being masterminded by Corrie’s new producer Stuart Blackburn,who is taking over from Phil Collinson.
This is interesting, I think, especially as we wondered here in this blog post about a shock storyline for the Platt clan whether Bethany and Sarah would be getting killed off. Hmmm.... I wonder?

What is the point in bringing them back just to kill them off? How much bad luck and grief can one family have? Come on Mr Blackburn lighten the mood, we have had enough misery under Collinson.
I don't know about anyone else but i am overjoyed that sarah and bethany are returning as i love the characters and think they can do some good storylines now Bethany is a teenager. The same age as Sarah was when she had her.
If true it's being masterminded by Collinson to finish off the Street which seems to be his agenda now that he is leaving early.
He's probably already got them signed up and the new producer will have no choice but to keep them on.
With the number of current and upcoming babies I don't see why they just don't kill off all the characters that are over 50 and retitle it Corobaby Street.
The plots and storylines are becoming so farfetched that it's hard to see the Street surviving another year.
OMG..more weeping, whispering, eye-lash battering and black sack cloth from Gail. This will finally bring Gail and Audrey back together I suppose but, if it is true it's a $hit storyline IMO.

What is the point of bringing them back? If they do return I really hope that the actress who played Bethany will be recast. The little girl who played her in the past was a terribly wooden.
Hmmm, Bethany is 13. In Corrie world old enough to get preggers like her mum. Perhaps by Uncle David. I can't where else this family can go for shock.

Has there actually been a leak about Sarah Lou and Bethany being killed off? If it's true, they don't have to appear on-screen; they could die in a plane crash coming over. Hopefully, the whole story is groundless because the Street's moved on since Sarah Lou left.
I think it will be funny for Sarah to find in the arms of a woman who looks Audrey's age. Particularly if she returns with an Italian stallion.
About time to bring Sarah back, but bring her back as a mature grown-up character who has been working and raising a daughter in another country, not Gail's little girl.Make her sophisticated tired of the same old song, The Factory. Education does exist in Weatherfield. Even Kirsty is educated and can't anything better than the factory, come in to reality.For one street it's like there's only one business The Factory, now it's getting sold.

I guess Gail's house will be stretching once again to unbelievably numerous bedrooms for Sarah-Lou and Bethany? Maybe Bethany can be a little quirkie like Craig, become best mates. Read that the new producer was the one who offered the contract to Tina O'Brien.
