Ben Price, who plays Nick Tilsley on Coronation Street was interviewed today on ITV's This Morning. He talked about the Christmas day storyline of Nick and Leanne's wedding and then revealed there's a huge twist ahead for Nick. Digital Spy have the full story here.
Ben said this about filming his upcoming shock storyline: "I'm quite a way ahead - I'm into February now, March. I finish on Friday, we get two weeks off and the studio stops, which is great. Then we come back and you're a bit more energised. But the story moves on so quickly in Corrie. Now I'm dealing with a whole different kind of mess. Peter's sort of gone to the side, and I'm dealing in something very, very big. Huge, really big!
"[It] happens on Christmas Day apart from the wedding. It will ripple through his life for the rest of time - and the Platts'!"
Now then, what are your guesses as to what it could be? I'm wondering if it'll involve Kylie and babies...? The reason I think this is that it's already been rumoured that Kylie will have a fling with a "mystery man" on Christmas Day - and I'm thinking it could well be Nick in light of what Ben said today. Then we'll have a Who's The Daddy? storyline pitting Nick and David against each other early next year. Could be good.
