Evil Josh Tucker returning to Coronation Street

David Platt's rapist Josh Tucker is returning to Coronation Street, according to Mr Curry Sauce in The Sun today.

Actor Ryan Clayton left Corrie last October. Ryan was in hospital, blinded if I remember correctly.

Hang on, quickly checking Corriepedia for confirmation!

Ah, here we go:

Josh was discharged from hospital in September 2018 and turned up at Billy's flat. Billy reluctantly allowed Josh to stay, and warned him to keep a low profile. David confronted Billy and, after revealing that Josh also raped Dec, and perhaps others, Billy threw Josh out.

In October 2018, Josh went to Audrey's salon to talk to David. Josh apologised for spiking David but was reluctant to admitting to rape. David bundled Josh into a car. Driving Josh to an alleyway, David told him that he has driven him to the police station and demands him to hand himself to the police.

Josh, terrified, pleaded to David not to destroy his life, saying he would not cope in jail. He went on to say he would be branded a rapist and likely to be put on a register. This indirect confession, as well as seeing the fear and peril he displayed satisfied David enough that he revealed they were nowhere near a police station and were in a ginnel in the city. Having gotten closure, despite Josh not directly admitting to the rape, David drove off and left Josh where he stood.

And now it looks like he's coming back. But why?

Find out who else is returning to, joining, taking a break from or leaving the show.

I wonder how he found his way back? LOL!

No no no! He was horrible and we don't need yet another reformed villain, if that is the plan.

Could he be involved in Shona's exit storyline? If the writers really can't think of a way to write Shona out without involving Clayton or Josh, then I'd take Josh over Clayton all the way.

And here's yet another reason why I'm so happy not to still be watching Modern Corrie. Give me Classic Corrie any day!

Maybe David is pregnant. That would be the usual reason for Corre - LOL!
