Coronation Street features in new walking tour of Manchester

Transpennine Express have launched a new walking tour map of Manchester that takes in some of the Coronation Street filming locations.

Their walking map takes in several locations that have appeared in some of the world’s favourite films and TV shows, including the old Granada Studios of Corrie of course.

You’ll see where Manchester has been transformed into 1940s Brooklyn, Victorian London, Houses of Parliament, student hangouts and more. Whether you’re into comic book blockbusters, contemporary comedies or dramatic soaps, this four-mile route that starts at Manchester Piccadilly Train Station will be a great way to explore the city in less than an hour and a half on foot.
