This morning, Corrie stars Lucy Fallon (Bethany Platt) and Rob Mallard (Daniel Osbourne) were interviewed by Holly Willoughy and Phil Schofield on ITV's This Morning show.
They were there to promote their Corrie storylines and to ask for votes in the National Television Awards, which take place next week.
But while interviewing Lucy and Rob, Phil let slip a major Corrie spoiler, which he wasn't supposed to do.
When talking about an upcoming storyline for Daniel, who has a fling with an older woman, Phil blurted out: "It's Carla!" and then clapped his hand over his mouth to cover his mistake.
Too late though, for now we all know what we'd suspected for a while!

I can see why Daniel would be all for it - Sinead is no match for THE Carla Connor.
As for Carla....I can see her doing it just for a bit of fun and to wind up the Barlows....Tracy and Peter in particular.
She fell for her husbands(Paul) brother(Liam) and they all turned out to be related in the end, with Johnny being her dad and all.
Why is it so wrong? Ick factor? Is it the age difference you have an issue with? If that's the case, then there should have been an ick factor when Peter hooked up with Tina (or countless other situations with older men/younger women) Daniel is an intelligent guy and Carla is an interesting woman. I'm actually looking forward to this story line to see how it turns out.
I suspect smugo Phil did it on purpose. He is always trying to get people to give soap storylines away.
