On the 21st October 2017, the Tony Warren exhibition opens in Salford. The exhibition tells the story of Tony Warren, the Salford legend, on his path to creating television’s biggest and longest running continuing drama, Coronation Street; an innovation of its time, telling the stories of ordinary people on an ordinary street.
And you can win a private tour for two of the exhibition at Salford Museum & Art Gallery, including refreshments in the Museum café and a souvenir programme.
The exhibition will include a replica living room scene from the 1960s, the opportunity to watch the first episode of Coronation Street and showcase personal items and photographs of Tony Warren brought together for the first time. Original scripts and other items from his early writing career will be on show.
Competition closes at midday on Tuesday 31st October 2017. Enter here.
