Coronation Street Spoiler: Phelan takes another hostage – but who?
The spoilers are in for next week’s Coronation Street and it’s going to be Phelan’s toughest week yet.
In a dramatic week of episodes old ghosts come back to haunt Phelan, threatening his future in Weatherfield and the life of those residents who attempt to stand in his way.
Having promised Andy that he’ll soon be a free man the pressure is on for Phelan to come up with his replacement.
It’s game on as Phelan adds to his hostage collection, using the opportunity to take revenge on one who previously wronged him. But as the pressure on Phelan ramps up, and daughter Nicola starts asking questions about his murky past, Phelan snaps and makes a final decision about the future of his hostages.

Can it be the writers? Then we can quietly forget about this story.
Phelan next hostage is clearly the viewers. There is no escape from this man other than the off button.
Who cares?
