The previews are in for next week’s Coronation Street and Seb gets a shock when he’s diagnosed with HIV.
He finds out the shock news after his fall last week from the ladder. In hospital, the doctors informs Anna, Faye and Abi that given time, Seb should pull through but they’re concerned about his white blood cell count which is too low.
Abi masks her fears but clearly scared, she confesses to Anna that Seb might have contracted HIV from an ex girlfriend but she’s never had the courage to tell him. Anna realises with horror that if Seb is HIV positive, Faye could be too.
Anna breaks the news to Tim. After initially refusing to have the test Seb agrees and is stunned to find out he is HIV positive. What does this mean for Faye?

This could be the Kate Oates story that scares her.
Pity it doesn't scare her enough to find another job.
Jeanie:
Agree with anonymous--the storylines have become much too dark and bleak for me since Oates took over--from the biggest stories, like Phelan and his reign of terror, to the smallest, like Daniel self-harming and vomiting in the street and the usually trusty-worthy Tyrone taking the crowd funding money to buy the family a vehicle. The suffering is just over-load.
What do you suggest? Get Stuart Blackburn back? Please no
Oh come on Tilly, there are many others who could do the job and not depress the long-term fans into abandoning ship!
