There are paparazzi pictures just about everywhere today showing the return of Alison King as Carla Connor.
Alison was photographed filming this morning out on location with Shayne Ward, who plays Aidan Connor.

Speaking to Radio Times earlier this year, Corrie producer Kate Oates said: “It’s time to break new ground with Carla. I didn’t want to put her on that familiar cycle of self-destruction, recovery, followed by more self-destruction.
“What we’ll have instead are these two strong Connor women – Carla and Michelle – on opposing sides and in conflict for a change. It’ll be a refreshing dynamic for us to see."

I was disgusted with how her character was treated before she left last time.

So glad they're bringing her back.I can't wait to see Carla either but if she and Michelle are in conflict it won't be much of a change.
Michelle was quite resentful when Carla made Peter her partner instead of choosing her friend and they weren't very close from that point on. Hayley and Roy grew to be her closest friends after that.
