A picture of Jack sporting curly hair, beard and moustache were put on Twitter recently from Hacker T Dog @cbbc_hacker. It makes him look a little older, which might work for his role as David Platt in Coronation Street.
David's changing a little on the show, maturing in his relationship with Shona, I feel, and maybe the hipster beardie look is all part of that growing up on screen look? Or maybe his razor's just broke. Who knows?
I kinda like the look, I have to admit. I wonder when we'll start to see the beard appear on the show?

It's an attempt to make David look older. It's finally sunk in that Shona looks and acts older than her years. Unfortunately, she's matched with 'Peter Pan' David, the cheeky imp of the Street. Here's a tip: David often wears a sweat shirt tucked into his jeans which turns him into a school boy. Let him dress smart casual in a jacket and shirt. Here's another tip: split them up and put them with more appropriate partners.

Me, three, split them up. I’ve got no issue with Shona, other than the massive number of coincidences in her life. Wow, she knew Nathan. Wow, she’s Clayton’s mom. Wow, her ex Dean is______ (wont be surprised if he is also Michelle’s suddenly not dead Dean.) Shona and David are duller than Gail’s blue blazer. David and Maria, OTOH, had the spark of something fun between them. They work well together. They have history.
And they share a psychotic streak. Wish they had been developed instead.
