Corrie fan events at the Tony Warren exhibition
The Tony Warren exhibition opens on October 21st at Salford Museum and Art Gallery. You can find out all details here.
And running alongside the exhibition are lots of events that fans might enjoy. These include:
50 from the 50s
Monday 20 November, 2:00-3:00pm
To mark the opening of the new Tony Warren exhibition we take an informal look at the Salford of the 1950s which inspired him to create Coronation Street. In this talk our focus is 50 photos of Salford and the wider area from 1950 - 1959, using images from 'Digital Salford'. View full event.
Corrie pub quiz
Friday 1 December, 6:00-8:00pm, £15 per person (plus booking fee)
Test your knowledge at our entertaining and fun Corrie-themed pub quiz over a drink or two. If you know all about Gail's husbands, Ken's love interests, the Rover's barmaids and can name who murdered Ernest Bishop, then this is quiz for you!

FAMILY ACTIVITY
Come and create your own room set inspired by the interiors of Coronation Street using boxes, wallpaper and junk materials. Have fun creating a bedroom, lounge, dining room or any room you can think of!

Inspired by the prints and fabrics on show in the early days of Coronation Street, join artist Lydia Meiying to create your own 60s prints!
Model Making for TV -
Monday 12 March 2018 and 16 April 2017, 2:00-4:00pm
£5 per person, booking essential
In this workshop you will discover how production designers use models to explain their studio designs to directors. You will have a go at designing a simple set and then make a simple card model to take home.

Coronation Street Villains
Sunday 23 May 2018, 7:00 - 8:00pm, bottle bar from 6:30pm

A discussion of the antagonists that has populated Coronation Street over the years. The event will look at how these villians have generated conflict and meaning from the earliest days of the programme to the current crop of villians who help make the programme so memorable and dramatic.
