Shaun Ryder: "I'd love to be on Coronation Street"

Watching the Christmas special of Come Dine With Me was, well, interesting. If featured Helen Flanagan, who played Corrie's Rosie Webster along with Happy Mondays front man, Shaun Ryder.   Shaun twisted his melons for his dinner starter, but that's not the point of this blog post, although it was one of the highlights of an otherwise not as good as expected programme.  Anyway, I digress.

Talking about television programmes they'd love to appear on, Shaun Ryder said he'd love to be on Coronation Street.

Make it work, Corrie, please.  We could then all have Happy Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

He could be Calum's Dad!

He could be Norris or Rita's long lost nephew or something. Rather see Sean in it than Jenny Bradley hoiked back again or Sarah Whinge Platt for that matter.
