The Mirror has a Coronation Street spoiler and paparazzi pictures showing Simon Barlow at Tina's grave.
The Mirror says that Simon runs away and is found by Rob at Tina's grave.
Rob finds Simon sobbing at Tina's grave, forcing him to confront what he did and he reassures Simon over Peter's innocence.
It's not the first time that Simon has done a runner of course. Didn't he disappear to Blackpool once, on his own, taking two buses?

Who really cares?
Someone put a tag on that damn kid.
Ridiculous.....yet again the writers forget how old Simon is....surprised he is not drawing another card for someone....the eternal 9 year old
Weatherfield Cemetery must be on a convenient bus route.
Even if he got there, he'd never find the grave because it wouldn't have a headstone yet. The ground has to settle for six months before a headstone can be erected.
When are the writers going to let that kid grow up? I find his babyish behaviour tiresome. He is always being walked about by someone. Does the kid not have any friends or interests? Not realistically portrayed at all! The kid is a very good actor so let him grow up. My bet is that they'll send him away to visit his grandparents and he'll return a hostile, nasty teenager. The same as they did with Ryan,Nick and Tracey with a different head.
Can't blame the kid for running. He's had a terrible life and it's just one thing after another. Most kids would be a lot more grown up for their years under the same situations. He's definitely on a slippery slope to a troubled teen-hood, this one.
It's a shame the way they infantalize him. Alex is a very talented actor and Simon is a bright, resourceful kid. He's either going to overcome his circumstances and be a successful professional, or succumb and live the life of a crime lord. Maybe he needs a positive role model outside of the family, like a coach or teacher, who could fill the Tina gap. Just sayin'
Poor lickle Simon - his mum's dead, his dad's an alcoholic who's on remand for murder, his stepmum's been with three different fellas in his little life including his dad, he doesn't get on with his other stepmum, his "stepdad" Nick has got brain damage, his auntie is an ex-con who killed her boyfriend, her current boyfriend is a murderer, his grandad went away for a whole year to Canada and his grandma keeps serving up stuffed marrow!
No wonder he runs away!!
I've said it before and I'll say it again: That child has the face of the Devil.
It's called not knowing what to do with a once popular character who has become redundant.
This show and most soaps don't seem to know how to write interesting storylines for children like Simon in their "tweens" -- out of the kiddie age range but not quite yet old enough to get involved in a teen pregnancy storyline. So while it would be great to see stories involving Simon, Craig and other kids -- if there's nothing for these characters to do or nowhere to go, get rid of them. Say a long lost blood relative has turned up and challenges Leanne in court over custody of Simon.
That reminds me... Simon actually has a grandfather on his biological mom's side. A rich and powerful one. I can't remember now whether the show dealt with that. Ah well... details vs. dramatic/creative licence or maybe one of many 'holes' in the show.
Saying Simon looks like the devil and other nasty comments is acceptable, I defend him and my comment isn't put through. How nice.
Due to all the negativity (with everything) I wonder why people bother with this show anymore. Rarely is there a good word said by a certain few.
