And she reveals that Carla will start eyeing up a suitable replacement for Peter.
“You would think she would steer clear of men altogether,” says Alison. “But we have filmed scenes where she turns cougar and sets her sights on one of the younger men.”

Here we go again more sex based stories.
Not many young men around for Carla Cougar to pounce on - Tyrone is too doltish, Nick is about the same age as she is, Kal is obsessed with Leanne Sourpuss, David is loved up with Kylie, there is only Steph's brother really that Frosty can think of.
She'll steal someone else's man, just like she always has.
I figure Jason is a likely target.

Where is peter?
Sooo depressing. Can't one female on the Street say: 'That's it. I'm finished with men' at least for a fortnight. I was also hoping she would turn her platonic attentions to Roy. I really don't want to see a drunken Carla chasing Jason (probably). Haven't we had the cougar storyline with Stella and Jason? It could be Steph's brother who has made such an impact that I've forgotten his name.

The only younger man I think it could be is Steph's brother, Luke? He gets with Katy next week but they haven't had much screen time (have they even had a scene together?) so it's obvious that the focus will be on someone else soon enough! Also, doesn't Luke work in the garage? I wonder how long it will be before he starts flirting with Carla when she passes him on her way to Underworld. Clever writing, I'm sure :P
Katy has been axed so maybe she leaves after Luke dumps her for Carla?
I agree with others who have pointed out that now would be a good time for Carla to be finished with men (at least for a while) but it sounds like this story will be happening before Peter's exit so surely the two are connected.
How will Peter react when he finds out that Carla is with a younger man? Actually, how can he react when he cheated on her with a girl half his age. What goes around, comes around...
Maybe she will want to get pregnant again. In which case, a young buck makes a good choice.
Definitely Jason. He is everybody's rebound bunny. And see how she is nasty to Eva even though Eva is trying to be helpful and supportive. Definitely Jason. Who else would even come close???
^^ The only reason Carla has to be 'nasty' to Eva is because they need Eva to quit her job at the factory so that she can work in the Rovers - replacing Tina.

Not Jason - he's already been with Stella.
Jason has hoisted his flag at most of the Corrie peaks but never pitched tent at Camp Carla. Carla may be a poor judge of character but she likes her men to be in shape.
