The People says that we'll see 17-year-old Katy giving birth just two days before Christmas Day. The drama happens when Anna Windass’s daughter Faye gets stage fright and runs off, minutes before she is due to appear as Mary in a nativity play.
“Katy had been rehearsing the lines with her. So, as the only other person who knows them, she dons Mary’s scarf and goes on instead. As she’s acting the birth of Jesus she starts getting pains and everyone says: ‘oh, she’s doing really well – she’s dead good at acting.’
They think she’s taking it a bit seriously but she’s actually gone into labour. They clear the place and call an ambulance but Katy ends up giving birth to baby Joseph in the manger on stage.”
