Coronation Street actress Kate Ford, who plays Tracy Barlow, stars in a new music video to the song I’ll Stand By You.
Kate joined forces with local celebrities, singers and performers to record the song and video at The Bay radio station. Money raised from sales of the CD will go to the Ryan Stanford Appeal, in aid of a three-year-old Lancaster boy who is terminally ill. Ryan has Alpers’ Disease, a terminal genetic disorder affecting both the brain and liver.
Kate said: “I am absolutely delighted to have been asked to support such a worthwhile charity.”
The CD is available from The Bay. It is also being sold at branches of Furness Building Society in Cumbria and north Lancashire, as well as Lancaster and Morecambe College and ASDA stores.
