Oh I do so agree with you. The character has great potential, and the actress has great comic timing... and yet she hasn't had a proper storyline of her own since... Becky slept with her then boyfriend Lloyd (well there probably have been one or two since, but I can't recall then just at the moment). She'd make a great Rovers barmaid, but her stint there last time was for one episode only. Virtually all the other characters have had their turn in the spotlight, and it's way past time that Kelly was at the centre of a substantial plot.
Oh no ... sorry I can't agree. I think she is a glamourised extra who is brilliant at her own PR, but she isn't what I would call a good actress. Not bad, just not good.
Maybe she has spent enough time on the street and if she really wanted to expand her acting talents, she should experience working in other programmes or maybe take to the stage.
After that, and if successful, then maybe the producers will take her more seriously, but you have to earn your bacon these days.

Sums her up perfectly...she just doesn't fit with the other characters, in the sense that (other than stealing other women's men) she doesn't seem to have any natural rapport or connection with anyone outside of the factory girls. Now Polish Wiki, I'd love to see more of her...or has she left already? (I'm in Canada)

I agree, Kelly needs a storyline. She has had so little screentime in the past few years, how can we really we say if we like her or not? She has some quite funny scenes with at the factory so I hope Corrie give her a storyline soon.
I agree Kelly is sorely under used and can be very comical. Why they use her as little more than an "extra" and yet we get Me Me Me Michelle in one story after another is beyond me!
