For ladies of a certain age (that's me included, then) news that Nigel Havers is joining Coronation Street will fair put a smile on their faces.The official Corrie site says that BAFTA-nominated Nigel will play a character called Lewis, a charming gentleman escort who accompanies wealthy ladies to social functions. He will appear on-screen from December.
